Michael Fenwick

1955 ~ 2019 (age 64)

Mr. Michael Anthony Fenwick of Campbellsville passed away suddenly on Friday, August 16, 2019 at the Springview Hospital in Lebanon. Born in Jefferson County on July 30, 1955 to the late Charles and Mamie (Masterson) Fenwick, he was 64 years and 17 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Catholic faith. Mr. Fenwick, or “Mikie”, as he was affectionately known, was the proud husband of nearly 40 years to Mrs. Judy (Noel) Fenwick, and the cherished daddy to two daughters. He enjoyed the simple things of life, and loved to laugh and crack jokes at every opportunity. Although accomplished in life, he remained humble and true to himself throughtout. He was a veteran and served his country honorably in the United States Army. He enjoyed tinkering on motorcycles and making historic furniture replicas, and had once coached his softball team to nationals. Outside of his family, his biggest passion was reenacting Civil War battles, where he played the role of General of the Army of Tennessee.

He leaves to cherish his memory:

   His wife: Mrs. Judy Fenwick,

Two daughters: M. Elizabeth Long and husband Wes of Shelbyville, and Maryjean Moffett and husband Mike of Frankfort,

Three siblings: Diane Knott of Brooks, KY, Kathleen Anderson of California, and Christopher Fenwick of Elizabethtown,

Seven grandchildren: Emily, Dustin, Caiden, Alex, Maddie, John-Daniel, and Allison,

His mother-in-law: Norma and Woody Woods of Indiana,

And a host of other family and friends.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Michael Fenwick, and two brothers: Danny and Joe Fenwick.
