Bennie "Foot" Curry, the son of the late Claudie and Lola B Pierce Curry, was born, Thursday, May 1, 1941 in Green County, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in Campbellsville at his residence.
He was 76 years, 5 months and 24 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Pitman Valley Baptist Church. He was a former car salesman for over 25 years and later a salesman at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Bennie enjoyed talking on the CB radio and aquired the name "Big Foot" as his CB handle. He always enjoyed talking to people; he had a great sense of humor and loved laughing and telling good jokes.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kim Curry.
Survivors include his wife: Donna Agee Curry of Campbellsville; a daughter: Rita Stocksdale and husband Skip of Indiana; three sons: Terry Curry of Columbia, James Dean Curry and wife Carlene, and David Curry and wife Loretta, all of Somerset; and a sister-in-law: Gatha Williams and husband Billy of Russell Springs.
Also surviving are 10 grandchildren: Bridget, Brandon, Jasper, Jacob, Jared, Kristen, Chad, Candace, Michael and Jason; 16 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Bennie "Foot" Curry will be conducted Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with Entombment in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Bro. Dannie Nelson and Bro. Ronnie Dooley will be officiating.
Visitation after 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
