Charles Milby

O B I T U A RY
Mr. Charles Thomas "Tom" Milby of Campbellsville, Kentucky, son of the late Raven Thomas Milby and Laeola Akin Milby, was born on Tuesday, December 8, 1942 in Green County, Kentucky and departed this life on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was 77 years, one month, and 21 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville First United Methodist Church. He was a life insurance agent with Met Life for 35 years, and later established Tom Milby Financial Services Inc. He was a member of the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #F&AM, and was also a Lieutenant in the Army National Guard where he attended Officer Candidate School.
Survived by his wife of 55 years, Charlotte Atwell Milby of Campbellsville, having united in marriage on July 18, 1964.
Other survivors include an aunt: Ann Akin of Greensburg; an uncle: Leonard Milby of Greensburg; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law: Rick and Deb Atwell of Greensburg, and Rhonda Atwell of Columbia; nephew and niece: Josh Atwell of Versailles and Kali Edwards of Prospect; two great-nieces: Marley Edwards and Sophia Edwards both of Prospect; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral services for Mr. Charles Thomas "Tom" Milby will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Central Time, Monday, February 10, 2020 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bro. Curtis Slinker and Bro. Ivan Tucker officiating.
Visitation is requested from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M., Central Time, Sunday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Monday until time of the funeral service.
The family has ask that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund or Alzheimer's Association, which can be made at the funeral home.
