Dewey Brim

Mr. Dewey Dale "Bud" Brim of Campbellsville was born on October 3, 1970 in Mercer County, Kentucky to the late J.C. and Odell (Absher) Brim. He departed this life at 10:40 PM on Monday, June 27, 2016 at the Golden Living Center in Stanford after a lengthy illness. Mr. Brim was 45 years, 8 months, and 24 days of age. He enjoyed farm work, and was employed at Rufus Hansford Realty and Lawson Tractor Company for several years. He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.

He leaves to cherish his memory:

One daughter: Theresa Louise Cox of Campbellsville,

One granddaughter: Gracelynn Isabella Mull of Campbellsville,

Six siblings: James Brim and wife Kim of Marion County, Tilford Brim and wife Martha of Campbellsville, Ruthie Gardnier and husband Mike of Willisburg, and Bessie Johnson and husband Mark, Dorothy Reynolds and husband Greg, and Peggy Raikes and husband Donald, all of Campbellsville,

And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Brim on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at 12:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718. Bro. Jim Collison will be officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 5, from 5:00-8:00 PM.
