Mrs. Donna Kay Martin of Campbellsville passed from this life on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at her home. Born in Taylor County on June 22, 1958 to the late John Albert and Mattie Evelyn (Scott) Long, she was 63 years, 1 month, and 29 days of age. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and Better Built Barns. Mrs. Martin had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Poplar Grove Methodist Church. She was a talented pianist and loved to sing, and enjoyed the many people she met as an Avon saleslady. Her many kindnesses and sweet spirit will be cherished through the many generations of her family.
She leaves to mourn her passing:
Her husband: John “J.W.” Martin,
Two sons: Robert Gene Bell and wife Bridget, and Christopher Brooks Graham and wife Heather, all of Campbellsville,
Three stepchildren: Richard Martin and wife Amanda of Campbellsville, Mandy Durham and husband Phil of Owensboro, and Tammy Richards and husband Les of Campbellsville,
A sister: Vicki Sue Gwilliam of Campbellsville,
Five grandchildren: Bethany Cheyenne Graham, Austin Grady Bell, Mattie Brooklyn Bell, Kinsley Rae Ann Durham, and Georgia Mae Bell,
One great-grandson: Carson Elliot Graham,
Thirteen step-grandchildren,
Four step-great grandchildren,
And a host of other family and friends.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by many aunts and uncles.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Martin on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Entombment will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
