Mr. Earl "Jack" Madden of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, son of the late Charlie Madden and Grace Scott Madden, was born December 18, 1936 in Larue County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Monday, October 3, 2016 at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville. He was 79 years, nine months, and 15 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Belmar Baptist Church. He was a welder at United Industries for 22 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Hinton Madden on August 20, 2008 having united in marriage on May 29, 1964. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister: James Madden, Charles Toddy Madden, and Frances Madden.
Survived by brothers and sisters-in-law; aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

The funeral services for Mr. Earl "Jack" Madden will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bro. Charlie Warren officiating.
Visitation is requested from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M., Friday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Saturday until time of the funeral.
Memorials are suggested to the Pancreatic Cancer Research Foundation.
