GEORGE LAPRADD

George Copeland LaPradd of Campbellsville, the son of the late Calip and Martina (Austin) LaPradd, was born January 6, 1941 in St. Charles, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 in Springfield. He was 81 years of age.

He was an oil and gas rig owner and operator and was of the Christian faith.

He loved horses, showing horses, motorcycles, boating and old cars.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters: JoAnn LaPradd and Deena Richerson; two brothers: J.C. Bean and Leonard Bean and three sisters: Joy Lee Bean, Sarah Alice LaPradd and Nannie Elizabeth LaPradd.

Survivors include his children: Sandra Benton and husband Kenny, Debra Wheeler and husband Steven and Cynthia Wheeler and husband Larry all of Campbellsville and Steve LaPradd and wife Jennifer of Munfordville; a brother: Randall LaPradd of Henderson; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his caregiver:Teresa Hill.

The visitation for George Copeland LaPradd will be Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 10:30 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. in the Campbellsville Chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
