GERALD DAVIS

Mr. Gerald Leon Davis of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Godfrey and Bonnie Cross Davis, was born on November 28, 1941 in Cumberland County, Kentucky. He departed this life on October 27, 2022 at his residence having attained the age of 80 years, ten months and 29 days.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ. Mr. Davis was retired carpenter and farmer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors.

Survivors include one son: Mark Davis of Greensburg; one daughter and son-in-law: Janice and Terry Young of Greensburg; four grandchildren: Adam Davis of Greensburg, Sarah Rose and Patrick Davis of Grab, Brittany and Michael McCubbin and Whitney Young all of Campbellsville; five great-grandchildren: Jayelyn Davis, Micah Davis, Hazel McCubbin, Georgia Mae Davis and Truman Heath; one brother: Mac Davis of Campbellsville; a caregiver: Pat Simpson; plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Davis was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter: Eva Shae McCubbin; two brothers: Keith Davis and R.C. Davis; and three sisters: Mary England Underwood, Dorothy Finn and Imogene Vaughn.

The funeral services for Mr. Gerald Davis will be conducted at 2 P.M., Central Time, Sunday, October 30th at the Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is requested from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M., Central Time, Saturday and after 7 A.M. Sunday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
