Glenn Pepper

Glenn Edward Pepper, age 87, of Campbellsville passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Grandview Nursing and Rehab Center.

Glenn was born in Summersville, Kentucky to the late Rev. F. T. and Betty Pepper. He united in marriage to Frances Bennett in 1951 who also preceded him in death on November 25, 2004. He had retired from St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan where he worked as a Chef for many years. He was a member of the Campbellsville Christian Church at the time of his death.

He is survived by his son and two daughters, Dr. Steven R. Pepper and his wife Sandra from Bradenton, FL, Pamela Parker and Lynne Horn and her husband Todd of Campbellsville. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Tracy Gerstler, Holly Parker Kessler and her husband, John Wayne and Weston Horn from Campbellsville, Jennifer Ducharme from Bradenton, FL, Dr. Andrew Pepper and his wife Rachel of Detroit, MI and Jacob Horn and his wife Sarah of Madison, IN. Four great-grandchildren survive, Austin Adams of Campbellsville, Nathan Adams of Bowling Green, Christopher Ducharme of Bradenton, FL and Laylah Horn of Brodhead, KY. One sister and one brother survive as well, JoAnn Ramsey of Glasgow and Eugene Pepper and his wife Shirley from Summersville, KY and a special care giver, Ernie Johnson.

Besides his parents and wife, Mr. Pepper was preceded in death by his brothers, Shreve Pepper, Crawford Pepper, Ralph Pepper, Morgan Pepper, Paul Pepper, and Henry Ford Pepper as well as his sisters, Oris Nunn, Ruth Chaney, Evelyn Davis and Rose Unger.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 23th at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Patton officiating with burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Serving as Casket Bearers are, John Blair Bennett, James Earl Bennett, Tommy Pepper, Tom Davis, W.D. Chaney and Josh Chaney.

The family request visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 22nd at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be for Gideon Bibles and may be made at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.
