Gwendolyn Whitley

Gwendolyn Whitley of Elizabethtown, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Earl Kelly and Pauline Whitlock Kelly, was born March 3, 1940 in Green County, Kentucky. She died at 11:59 P.M., Sunday, March 12, 2017 in Elizabethtown. Age: 77
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of New Hope Community Church in Elizabethtown.
Traveling was always a favorite pastime for Gwendolyn, as was enjoying good music. Most of her joy came from her family; she loved to spend time with them. She truly took delight in the happiness of others, especially her family and closest friends.
Gwendolyn united in marriage to Donald Whitley on December 2, 1962.
Besides her husband of 54 years, she is survived by two sons: Marcus Whitley and wife, Stacey of Leitchfield and Donnie Whitley of Elizabethtown; two grandchildren: Sydne Hope Whitley of Leitchfield and Landon Whitley of Elizabethtown; two step-grandchildren: Ethan Hinson and wife, Nicole of Brownsville and Ian Hinson and wife, Destiny of Lebanon, TN; two great-grandchildren: Aubrey Hinson of Brownsville and Ahliana Hinson of Lebanon, TN; two brothers: Joe Kelly and wife, Ruth of Harrodsburg and Lilburn Kelly and wife, Inez of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

VISITATION: 5:00 - 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 A.M., Thursday, March 16, 2017 at
Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Pastor Herb Williams,Pastor Philip Quisenberry and Paula Quisenberry
