Florence Curry of Campbellsville, daughter of the late William Nelson and Edna Stearman Nelson, was born September 2, 1918, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 3:30 A.M., Thursday, December 14, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 99

She professed faith in Christ and was an active member of the Campbellsville First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Florence united in marriage to Boyce F. Curry March 27, 1937 and he preceded her in death September 13, 2002.

She is survived by one daughter, Mary Ann Russell of Campbellsville; one granddaughter, Susan Phillips and husband, Kenny of Campbellsville; one great-grandaughter, Amber Nash and husband, Adam, Albuquerque, New Mexico;

two brothers and three sisters: David Nelson and wife, Ruby, Allen Ray Nelson, Betty Sharp, Thelma Barnes and husband, Kelsay "Bug" Barnes and Rachel Durham and husband, Howard of Campbellsville; a sister-in-law, Anna Lee Curry of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by one brother and three sisters: Buckner Nelson, Pearl Sullivan, Ruth Nelson and Gladys Milby and a son-in-law, Eugene Russell June 26, 2003.
