Inex Ennis

Mrs. Inex Bishop Ennis of Campbellsville, Kentucky,formerly of Greensburg, daughter of the late Linzie A. Bishop and Cora E. Davis Bishop, was born on April 29, 1929 in Jefferson County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Grandview Nursing Home in Campbellsville. She was 87 years and one day of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church. She was also a former business owner and office clerk.

She united in marriage to Everett Coleman "Junior" Ennis on April 2, 1955 who preceded her in death on December 19, 1997.

Survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law: J.R. and Darlene Bishop of Greensburg, and Larry and Brenda Bishop of Versailles; a sister: Exie Burress of Campbellsville; a brother-in-law: Virgil Diamond of Science Hill; four nieces: Donna Hall, Cindy Clouse, Traci Lobb, Jennifer Tucker; six great-nephews: Aaron Hall, Spencer Diamond, Riley Hall, Benjamin Clouse, Brandon Frank, and Colton Lobb; two great-nieces: Makenzie Clouse and Lindsay Harris; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Ennis was also preceded in death by a sister: Janet Bishop Diamond; a brother-in-law: Raymond Burress; and a nephew: Virgil A. Diamond, III.

The funeral services for Mrs. Inex Bishop Ennis will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bro. Leslie Jewell Officiating.

Visitation is requested from 4:30 P.M. until 8 P.M., Monday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Tuesday until time of the funeral service.
