Mr. James M. "Sparky" Taylor, Sr. 80, of Campbellsville, KY died on August 8, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Taylor was a native of Campbellsville, KY and the son of the late James M. and Evelyn Taylor. He was a member of First Baptist Church and a former employee of UPS.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Taylor; one sister, Nancy Ford; brothers, Joe M. Taylor and Virgil E. Taylor.
Survivors include one son, James "Bug" Taylor, Jr. of Campbellsville, KY; one daughter, Lisa M. Taylor-Shobe (James T.) of Ellenwood, GA; two sisters, Ramona Sheppard of Chicago, IL and Kay Whitaker of Campbellsville, KY; six grandchilren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Campbellsville, KY with Rev. Montel Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Campbellsville.
Buchanan, Robinson & Percell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
