O B I T U A R Y
Mr. James Ronald "Ronnie" Wilson of Simpsonville, Kentucky, formerly of Greensburg, son of the late James Wesley Wilson and Bernice T. Smith Wilson, was born on Tuesday, May 9, 1950 in Taylor County, Kentucky and departed this life on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Baptist Health in Louisville. He was 67 years, 8 months, and 16 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Allendale Missionary Baptist Church. He was also a retired Butcher for Houchens Industries.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Jason and Kimberly Wilson of Louisville; a daughter and son-in-law: Heather and Glenn Wheatley of Louisville; six grandchildren: Madison Wilson, Noah Wilson, Hallie Wilson, Zachary Wheatley, Sarah Wheatley, and Taylor Wheatley all of Louisville; an aunt and uncle: Ruth Rodgers of Campbellsville, and Johnny Smith of Louisville; the mother of his children: Carolyn Luttrell Wilson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral services for Mr. James Ronald "Ronnie" Wilson will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Central Time, Monday, January 29, 2018 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bro. Jason Wilson officiating.
Visitation is requested from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M., Sunday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Monday until time of the funeral service.
Expressions of sympathy are suggested to the American Cancer Society, which can be made at the funeral home.
