Jimmie Wright

Mr. Jimmy L. Wright, age 72, of Mt. Washington, returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 3, 2015. Mr. Wright served the United States in the Army, a retiree from GE, a member of American Legion 157 and Local 761 I.U.E.
Among those who preceded him in death include, his grandson, Christopher Martin; sister, Estelle Woodrum; brothers, Walter Wright, Ray Wright and Claude Wright; parents, Carl Wright and Arlie Atwood.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Wanda Tungate Wright; daughters, Dana S. Mahan (Andrew), Valerie J. Martin (Charles); grandchildren, Ashley Hester, Jabez Mahan and Clayton Martin; sisters, Helen Addison, Howard Wright, Robert Atwood, Raymond Atwood and Larry Atwood; brother- in- law, Ronald Woodrum and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2015 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.; use John Harper entrance) with interment in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
