Jimmy Ray Reese, 70, of Buffalo, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016, at University Hospital in Louisville.
He was a Baptist by faith and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was born Aug. 30, 1946, the son of the late Elmer and Hallie Whitis Reese.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Johnny Reese, Toby Brewer and Richard Reese; a sister, Virgie Brewer; and his father-in-law, Frank Housley.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Evelyn Housley Reese of Buffalo; two sons, Scott (Julie) Reese of Hazel Park, Michigan, and Tony Reese of Buffalo; a daughter, Teresa L. Reese of Buffalo; his mother-in-law, Lota Irene Tosh Housley of Buffalo; three grandchildren, Dalton and Haley Reese and Felicia Miller; two great-grandchildren, Thomas and Aubrey Miller; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Entombment for Jimmy Ray Reese is at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9, at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Gordon McDowell officiating.
