John Douglas "Shorty" Gabehart of Campbellsville, son of Corinne "Polly" Carter Gabehart and the late Ernest S. Gabehart, was born October 19, 1953, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 4:37 A.M., Friday, April 17, 2015 in Louisville. Age: 61
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church.
He was a retired semi-truck driver and manager of Cox Interior truck garage for fifteen plus years.
He is survived by two daughters: Nicole Dicken and husband, Rongie of Campbellsville and Angela Raines and husband, Klint of Crosby, Texas; four grandchildren: Keeley Dicken, Cody Raines, Blake Raines and Kaitlyn Raines; his mother, Corinne "Polly" Gabehart of Campbellsville; one brother and two sisters: Ernie Gabehart and wife, Hilda, Sharon Sue Simpson and husband, Jeff and Pam Thompson and husband, Philip of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
