Joseph McCullough

Mr. Joseph Todd McCullough of Campbellsville was born on July 18, 1968 in Louisville to Arthur Murray McCullough and Bonnie Jo (Keifer) McCullough. He departed this life on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at his home after an extended and brave battle with cancer. He was 48 years, 9 months, and 4 days of age. Mr. McCullough was a truck driver by trade, and his mechanical-oriented mind loved inventing new things. He was a full blooded American patriot, and loved keeping up with the government and national interests, as well as everything outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Mr. McCullough professed faith in Christ. He was baptized in, and was a member of, Lowell Avenue Baptist Church.

He leaves to mourn his passing:

His wife: Margo (Furkin) McCullough of Campbellsville,

His parents: Arthur McCullough and wife Linda of Irvington, and Bonnie McCullough of Campbellsville,

Four children: Joshua Furkin and wife Jennifer of Columbia, Michael Shavelieva and wife Rachel of Bowling Green, Alexandra McCullough Richardson of Campbellsville, and Christopher Lee McCullough and wife Brianna of Brownsville,

One sister: Tina Dishman of Campbellsville,

Six grandchildren: Bowen Furkin, Isaac Shavelieva, Isaiah Richardson, Riley McCullough, Mackenzie McCullough, and Arabella Jones,

One nephew: Daniel Caton,

And a host of other family and friends.

He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Cassidy Richardson.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. McCullough on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at 11:00 AM EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro Dave Walters will be officiating. Entombment will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 24, from 5:00-8:00 PM EST.
