July 27, 1948 — January 5, 2020

Sis. Kathryn Jane Roy of Campbellsville passed from this life on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. Born in Warren County on July 27, 1948 to the late Lloyd Ray and Kathleen (Sexton) Boston, she was 71 years, 5 months, and 9 days of age. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and a nurses aid. Sis. Roy loved her family, her church, and above all, Jesus, and was a faithful attendee of the Truth Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church. She freely chose meekness and humility in this world, glorifying God always, and living her life as a testimony of His patience and love.

She leaves to mourn her passing:

One daughter: Lori Canice Roy,

One grandson: Isaiah Donavon Roy,

A sister: Lois Hoots and husband Steven of Gallatin, Tennessee,

Four nieces and nephews: Christopher Fain, Stacey Lewis, Joseph Fain, Bethany Ezell,

A great-niece: Emily Ezell,

Special friends: Sheryl & Samuel Bell,

And a host of extended family and friends.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Sis. Roy on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary of the Truth Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church, 4607 Old Lebanon Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Pastor Raymond Clark and Bro. Steve Hoots will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday, January 7, from 5:00-8:00 PM.
