Kenneth Harris

Kenneth Eugene Harris of Greensburg, son of the late Hazel Blaine Harris and Helen Coffey Harris, was born on Monday, February 3, 1936 and passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 87 years, six months, and five days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Green Hill Baptist Church. He served in the United States Army and retired from Southern States after 40 years. He was also a farmer and a collector of all things John Deere.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara Allen Harris of Greensburg, having united in marriage on December 20, 1963.

Other survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Kenny and Majel Harris of Greensburg, Mike and Krista Harris of Glasgow; four grandchildren: Leah and Benson Sexton, Lindsay and Josh Brown all of Greensburg, Mary Kaitlyn Harris and her fiancé, Barrett Dennison of Tennessee, Will Harris of Bowling Green; five great-grandchildren: Kate, Max, Hayes, Joss, Karter; one sister and brother-in-law: Connie and Irv Dunham of Alabama.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister: Geneva Durham.

The funeral services for Kenneth Eugene Harris will be conducted at 10 A.M., Central Time, Saturday, August 12, 2023 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bro. Steve James and Bro. Todd Young officiating.

Visitation is requested from 4 P.M., until 8 P.M., Central Time, Friday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Saturday until time of the service.
