Mrs. Mary Charles (Charlie) Heady Hawthorne, age 89, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016 in Blackstone, Virginia. She was born on September 2, 1926 in Larue County, KY.
She was preceded in death by: Parents: Terrill and Elma Allen Heady; First Husband: Leonard Pepper; Second Husband: Bennett (Ben) Hawthorne, Sr.
Mrs. Hawthorne is survived by: Brother: Bobby Heady; Nephew: Jeff Heady (Cindy); Two Nieces: Debbie Dickerson (Donnie) and Karen Singleton (Stuart), all of Larue County, KY. Stepson: B. Warren Hawthorne, Jr. (Kathy) of Lebanon, KY.
Also surviving are three stepdaughters, eight step-grandchildren, and ten step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Chapel, with interment to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens cemetery. Services will be officiated by Rev. Robert Howell of the Hodgenville Methodist Church in Hodgenville, KY. Visitations will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday February 2, 2016.
