Opal Clark of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Walter Goebel Watson and Nellie Ermine Bault Watson was born April 25, 1920 in Adair County, Kentucky. She died at 6:45 P.M., Monday, January 14, 2008 in Greensburg.
Age: 87
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Meadowview Baptist Church.
She was a homemaker and a former employee of Fruit of the Loom.
She united in marriage to George Clark August 23, 1940. He preceded her in death April 30, 1982.
She is survived by one son and four daughters and spouses: Clara Nelle and Richard Hord, Wilma Ann and Leonard Abell, and Jane Wilson of Campbellsville; Ellen and Bennie Kessler of Lebanon and Don and Barbara Clark of Greenwood, South Carolina; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Clark of Campbellsville; and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Jerry Clark.
