Ross Bragg

November 19, 1934 — May 1, 2019

Mr. Ross Vernon Bragg, Sr. of Campbellsville passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 in Hurricane, West Virginia. Born on November 19, 1934 to the late Theron Eugene and Susie Alice (Dunn) Bragg, he was 85 years, 5 months, and 12 days of age. He earned a living as a carpenter, but his true passion lay in preaching and teaching the Bible to lost sinners. He was the pastor of the non-denominational Gospel Assembly in Campbellsville for several years, later retiring to a traveling ministry. When he wasn't "fishing for men", he was usually passing wisdom, knowledge, and love to his grandkids.

He leaves to cherish his memory:

Two sons: Ross Bragg, Jr. and wife Janet of Campbellsville, and Timothy Bragg and wife Donna of Murfreesboro, TN,

Five grandchildren: Alexis Bragg, Tyler Bragg, Houston Bragg and wife Whitney, Austin Bragg, and Dustin Bragg and wife Hannah,

Three great-grandchildren: Lilly Bragg, Gracelyn Bragg, and Jenna Bragg,

And a host of other extended family and friends.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Bragg on Monday, May 6, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the LR Petty Funeral Home, Campbellsville, KY. Bro's Craig Jackson, George Blevins, and John P. Marlow will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery, with full military honors being conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
