Roy Graybeal

Roy Graybeal of Campbellsville, son of the late Oscar Graybeal and Nancy Denny Graybeal, was born July 27, 1940 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 1:33 A.M., Tuesday, May 19, 2020 in Elizabethtown. Age: 79
He united in marriage to Shirley Naomi Sluder March 2, 1962 and she preceded him in death May 29, 2017.
Roy worked as a body man and did automobile body repair for many years.
He loved fishing and traveling, especially to the mountains and also enjoyed taking his grandchildren and great-grandchildren on walks.
Roy is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and James Bishop of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Kelli Flaherty and husband, Mark of Cape Coral, Florida and Brian Judd and wife, Shannon of Hodgenville; four great-grandchildren: Bayly Judd, Chloe Judd, Scotlyn Edelen and Emily Flaherty; an honorary grandchild, Corie Barnett; one sister, Lucille Bailey of Shepherdsville; one sister-in-law, Janice Graybeal of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters: Hayden Graybeal, Murrell Graybeal, Hubert Graybeal, Raymond Graybeal, Bruce Graybeal, Millard Graybeal, Pearl Cox and Okry Farmer.
