Sarah Line

Mrs. Sarah Esther Stearman Line of Crestwood, Kentucky, a native of Greensburg, daughter of the late Virgil Stearman and Virgie Warren Stearman, was born on July 21, 1933 in Green County and departed this life early Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at the Forest Springs Nursing Center in Louisville, Kentucky. She was 83 years, four months, and 15 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Summersville Baptist Church. She was also a retired school teacher.

She united in marriage to Edward Douglas Line on May 29, 1963 who preceded her in death on November 8, 2015.

Survivors include a daughter: Karen Dean of Munfordville; a son and daughter-in-law: Dale and Kathleen Line of Crestwood; three grandchildren: Lauren Dean of Louisville, Meredith Line and Duncan Line both of Crestwood; a sister: Prudence Whitlow of Hodgenville; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Line was also preceded in death by a brother: Carl Stearman.

The funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Esther Stearman Line will be conducted at 12 Noon, Cst., Thursday, December 8, 2016 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bro. Wilburn Bonta officiating.

Visitation is requested after 9 A.M., Thursday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until time of the funeral service.

Memorials are suggested to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society which can be made at the funeral home.
