Sybil Pepper

September 24, 1918 — August 22, 2007

Sybil Lee Pepper, daughter of the late George Jeffries and Tura Davis Jeffries, was born on Tuesday, September 24, 1918 in Green County and departed this life on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at the Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, Kentucky. She was 88 years, 10 months and 29 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Sandlick Separate Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

She united in marriage to Joseph Shreve Pepper who preceded her in death on June 9, 1985.

Survivors include eight children: Betty Beams of Greensburg, Bonnie Nolley, Garry D. Pepper, and David Pepper all of Campbellsville, James Pepper of Adair County, Beverly Bloyd of Summersville, Karen Bland of Campbellsville and Debbie James of Danville; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four brothers: Curtis "Curt" Jeffries and Wayne Jeffries both of Green County, Leonard Jeffries and Elmo Jeffries both of Louisville; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Pepper was preceded in death by two brothers: Ralph Jeffries and Kenneth Jeffries; and two sisters: Alma Moran and Marcella Moran, two grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren
