Wallace Atkinson

Mr. Wallace Atkinson, 86, of Cincinnati, OH, died on January 14, 2017 at Lakeridge Acres in Cincinnati, OH.

Mr. Atkinson was a native of Taylor County, Kentucky and the son of the late Will and Minnie Ann Atkinson. He was a US Army veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Atkinson was a member of Bethel AME Church where he served on the board of Trustees.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lee Atkinson; four sons, Ronnie, Jerry, Barry and Glen Atkinson all of Campbellsville, KY and three daughters. Betty, Joyce and Sharon Atkinson all of Campbellsville, KY; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Bethel AME Church with Rev. Cortez Golphin officiating. Burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens with military honors.

Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 pm on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Buchanan, Robinson & Percell Funeral Home.
