Jane Allen Marshall Coffey of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Twyman Marshall and Lora Alice Cox Marshall, was born on Monday, October 12, 1931 in Green County and departed this life on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the Green Hill Rehab & Care Center. She was 89 years, 11 months, and 6 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Liberty Separate Baptist Church. She had formerly worked for American Needle Craft, Clark Casual Furniture, and was a farmer and homemaker.
Jane united in marriage to Buford Ray Coffey on March 12, 1949 who preceded her in death on June 11, 1988.
Survivors include two sons and three daughters-in-law: Brad and Cindy Coffey, Tim and Donna Coffey, and Peggy Coffey all of Greensburg; five grandchildren and their spouses: Jeremy and Keisha Coffey, Jason and Mindy Coffey, Josh and Elizabeth Coffey, Scott and Melissa Coffey, and Tammy Pickett all of Greensburg; eight great-grandchildren: Chase Coffey, Andrew Mosby, Braden Coffey, Addison Coffey, Riley Coffey, Colbie Coffey, Layke Pickett, and Ashley Wilson; a sister: Carol Hatcher of Greensburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a son: Steve Coffey on January 1, 2001; and two brothers: James B. Marshall, and Joseph W. Marshall.

There will be graveside services for Jane Allen Marshall Coffey held at 1:00 P.M., Central Time, Thursday, September 23, 2021 at the Green County Memory Gardens. Bro. Todd Davis officiating. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, Greensburg in charge of the service arrangements.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund or St. Jude Children’s Hospital, which can be made at the funeral home.
