Roger Stearman

August 25, 1955 ~ October 17, 2021 (age 66)


Mr. Roger Warren Stearman of Green County, Kentucky, son of the late James Thomas Stearman, Sr. and Barbara Jean Larimore Stearman, was born on Thursday, August 25, 1955 in the Gabe Community of Green County and passed away, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at his home in the Marshall Ridge Section of Green County after a long illness. He was 66 years, one month, and 22 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Greensburg Baptist Church at the time of his death. Roger was a lifelong farmer. He loved nothing more than to spend time on the farm raising crops and working cattle. He retired from Nally and Hayden after working there for many years. Roger loved his family dearly and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survived by his wife of 44 years, Debra Lee Curry Stearman of Green County, having united in marriage on March 12, 1977.
Other survivors include two sons: Brett Warren Stearman of Falmouth, and Kyle Stearman and his wife, Lisa of the Gabe Community. He took great pride and joy in his three grandchildren: Kayden Alexander Stearman, Kyleigh Marie Stearman, and Klaire Adeleigh Stearman all of Gabe; he also leaves to mourn a brother and four sisters: J.T. Stearman, Jr. and his wife, Shelia, JoAnne Withers and her husband, Jeff, and Brenda DeSimone all of Green County, Regina Johnson of Campbellsville, and Kathy Stearman and her husband, Keith Glynn of Louisville; his mother-in-law: Joyce Curry of Columbia, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Kathy (Joe) Buras of Tennessee, Peggy (Darrell) Loy, Tammy (Greg) Feese all of Columbia, Jimmy (Lisa) Curry of Campbellsville, Mary Whitlow (Tim Garner) of Nancy, and Steven Curry of Columbia; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral services for Mr. Roger Warren Stearman will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bro. Blake Jessie officiating.
Visitation is requested from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M., Central Time, Tuesday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Wednesday until time of the funeral service.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hosparus of Green River or the American Lung Association, which can be made at the funeral home.
